Engagement Global is the contact partner in Germany for development policy awareness, both throughout Germany and internationally. Since 1 January 2012, Engagement Global has brought together institutions, initiatives and programmes that are actively engaged in development policy in order to promote global cooperation.
For children and young adults, it is particularly important to view the world from broader perspectives, and to understand what matters to people in other countries. In addition to the Song Contest, other services offered by Engagement Global under the heading of Global Learning help both students and teachers to better understand global interrelationships and to work for a fairer world.
On Engagement Global’s website you can find out more about the work of the organisation. .

The BMZ develops guidelines and concepts on German development policy. It determines the long-term strategies for cooperation with the various stakeholders and defines rules for their implementation. Based on this underlying policy work, shared projects are subsequently developed with partnering countries involved in German development cooperation and with international organisations engaged in driving development policy.
