Preliminary jury: These songs are still in the running! |
Almost 600 songs were submitted for the fourth round of the Song Contest. Now the preliminary jury has decided which songs are still in the running for the title of EINE WELT song (ONE WORLD song) and made the shortlist from which the first main jury in October will determine the prizes for a studio production, recognition and special prizes as well as a top 5.
Quality and diversity did not make it easy for the jurors at the preliminary jury to make a decision. The musical commitment to global challenges and the future of the ONE WORLD was impressive.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants once again - for their wonderful contribution to the Song Contest and thus to ONE WORLD! We were very moved by the commitment, the strong messages and the unforgettable melodies.
Where do we go from here? In October, the independent main jury will meet in Berlin and award 20 album productions, select five finalist songs and choose the special and recognition prizes. The five finalist songs will then perform in front of a second main jury on 3 December, which will choose the EINE WELT song (ONE WORLD song) and award the two other main prizes.
