The official music video for the EINE WELT (ONE WORLD) song “Kinder der Welt”
The music video for the song “Kinder der Welt” by Shayla Jolie and Filo begins in black and white. You see a bunch of keys lying unattended at a theatre box office. A child grabs the keys and uses them to unlock a door. Next, we see another child attaching letters to a very large billboard outside. It reads “Kinder der Welt” and “Shayla Jolie and Filo”. The children prepare the theatre, they plug in cables and turn on the lights.
The music begins. The camera perspective shows Shayla Jolie from above as she plays the piano. “Shayla Jolie & Filo” appears on the screen in white lettering. The camera pans around and you can see Filo sitting next to Shayla Jolie, they are singing together. Next some footage of them in the music studio is shown.
We see Shayla Jolie and Filo sitting at the piano on the theatre stage. A large clock made out of cardboard is hanging in the back of the stage. The clock shows 5 past 12.
As the camera zooms out you can see that the theatre hall is completely empty and unseated. The title of the song “Kinder der Welt” appears on the screen in white lettering.
Chorus: Kinder der Welt, hört nicht auf zu rebellier’n (Children of the world, don't stop rebelling)
The camera zooms in on the theatre stage again. Two girls turn the large clock over, a world map is painted on the back and you can identify the outlines of several continents. You can see the hands of Shayla Jolie and Filo, each holding a paintbrush and giving a high five with those paintbrushes. At this moment, the video becomes colorful. Footage of the two girls during the production in the music studio is shown again. In between, there are scenes in which Shayla Jolie and Filo are singing in front of a single-colored background, the background color changes between yellow and green. The screen is separated in the middle by a black bar, with Filo singing on one side and Shayla Jolie on the other.
Es ist 5 nach 12, es muss endlich was passier’n (It's 5 past 12, something has to happen now)
You can see how the brushes are dipped into paint pots and how Shayla Jolie and Filo color the world map green and blue. In between you can see scenes from the music studio production and scenes from the girls singing in front of the single-colored backgrounds.
Kinder der Welt, hört nicht auf zu klagen (Children of the world, do not stop complaining)
Aufzusteh’n und Alarm zu schlagen (To stand up and to raise the alarm)
Unser Planet wird zur Wüste (Our planet is turning into a desert)
Lasst uns die Erde reparier’n (Let's repair the earth)
Shayla Jolie and Filo can be seen singing on the theater stage again. In the next shot someone sweeps up lots of banknotes on the stage floor with a broom.
Millionäre der Welt, bitte hört doch, was ich sag (Millionaires of the world, please listen to what I say)
Eine tote Erde macht auch euch bitterarm (A dead earth will make you poor as well)
Ihr habt es in der Hand, bitte nehmt euer Geld (It’s in your hands, please take your money)
Bitte fliegt nicht in das All, sondern rettet die Welt (Please don't fly into space, but save the world)
The camera zooms out and you can see the whole theater stage. In addition to the painted world map there is see a planet, a satellite, a rocket and an industrial building on the stage, all made of cardboard.
The girls' choir of the Singakademie zu Berlin stands behind a railing and sings along. Scenes of some children in front of the different single-colored backgrounds are shown. A few children rebuild the backdrop of the theater stage: They pull up the satellite, they carry trees made of cardboard on the stage and they roll some barrels around. In between, you can see some scenes of Shayla Jolie and Filo singing on stage.

Next scene: A close-up of the painted world map. The camera zooms out and we see two children on stage carrying away a cardboard-house. Scenes from Shayla Jolie and Filo during the studio production, singing on stage and in front of the colored backgrounds are shown.

At the end, Shayla Jolie and Filo stand in front of a door on the stage, behind which you can see a green meadow and trees. They hold hands and look out onto the meadow. Then they walk together through the door towards the meadow.
The image turns yellow, a globe appears and the words “Dein Song für EINE WELT” (Your song for ONE WORLD) appear on the left of the globe. The image of two young people, a girl and a boy, appears in the globe. The girl is playing the guitar and the boy is holding a microphone.
